Dore J. Gilbert, M.D., received his Medical Degree from the
University of Southern California in 1975, and in 1976 completed
a Surgery Internship at USC Medical Center, Los Angeles County.
He completed a residency in Dermatology at Harbor General
Hospital from 1976-79 where he served as Chief Resident from
1978-79.
Dr. Gilbert also served as Chief of Dermatology for 12 years
at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach. Dr. Gilbert is
an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of
California, Irvine.
As a member of the American Medical Association, International
Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, American Academy of
Dermatology, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery,
American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Gilbert is also a
certified physicians instructor for Allergan, Dusa Pharmacutical
and Lumenis.
As a key note speaker and instructor, Dr. Gilbert’s unique
perspective, and extensive hands on experience, keeps him
busy both in and out of Newport Beach: The Fifth Congress
of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology in
Lisbon, Portugal; The ESCRS Congress, Prague, Czech Republic;
Dublin, Ireland; and the Polymed International Symposium
in Zurich, Switzerland, American Academy of Dermatology,
American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery to name a few.
Dr. Gilbert is married 34 years, the proud father of five, and a
Member of the Board of Education in the Saddleback Valley
Unified School District. In addition, Dr. Gilbert is the Medical
Director of Newport Dermatology & Laser Associates, in
Newport Beach, CA, where he has been in practice for thirty
years, specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology,
and the latest in state-of-the art laser and light dermatology. |
