MaxFX is for patients with deeper scars. MaxFX is a combination of ActiveFX and DeepFX spot sizes. Generally, the DeepFX is used on deeper lines or scars (around the lips or corners of the eyes in most patients). ActiveFX is then feathered over these areas and the rest of the face.
