About Me

Dana Ellis, MD

Dr. Dana Ellis is a dermatologist who specializes in treating a variety of skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and skin cancers, as well as performing cosmetic procedures, including laser resurfacing, non-surgical fat reduction, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for hair loss and facial rejuvenation.

Prior to becoming a dermatologist, Dr. Ellis was a member of the Canadian National Track & Field Team for six years, placing sixth at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She trained at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, where she met her husband, also a star athlete!

For Dr. Ellis, building trust with her patients is of the upmost importance. She wants her patients to leave their appointments with no question unanswered and confident that their goals have been met.

Dr. Ellis believes that the skin is the window to a patient's internal health. She loves how dermatologists don't need X-rays, CT-scans or MRI technology to make a diagnosis; they only need their eyes and their hands to provide excellent treatment that can improve a patient's health and overall quality of life.
