During clinical training, I fell in love with Dermatology, I love the mix of procedure based medicine. I love that I can focus solely on patient care.
I believe your skin is a type of litmus test for your well-being, it can show us what imbalances there are and acts as a window to what is going on inside your body.
My goal is to listen to patients make them feel heard. And to have mutual respect and understanding.
The best advice I can give my patients:
Drink plenty of fluids, wear sunscreen and cover up when the sun is at its worst. Avoiding excess sugars and eat whole foods.
I believe stress, nutrition, exercise all have impacts on your health, including “skin health” which can be a direct reflection of your internal health.
I love mountain Biking, Cycle Touring, Hiking, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Australian Rules football.
Being a local I love having much of my family in the area. I am supported by my partner, Ryan and two wonderful pups Mia and Sofia.
